About the President
Abubakr Ali Aziz is the founding President of the Association and has led its work since its establishment in 2011. Under his leadership the Association has focused on representing Kurdish returnees from Europe, supporting their reintegration into life in the Kurdistan Region, and building constructive dialogue with public institutions, diplomatic missions, humanitarian agencies and civil society.
Governance
The Association operates as an independent, non-profit civil society organisation. Day-to-day work is directed by the President, with the support of a small team and volunteers, in line with the Association's founding purpose and internal policies.
Accountability
The Association welcomes complaints, feedback and concerns through its formal channels on the Contact page, and undertakes to consider every serious concern in good faith.
